When you add a reference to one of the new elapsed time variables (Slide.ElapsedTime, Scene.ElapsedTime, Project.ElapsedTime), they will show in milliseconds.

If you want to show the time in seconds, you need to assign it to a new variable, then divide that variable by 1000:
