SCORM 1.2 not viewable on the LMS
Hello,
I published my course as a SCORM 1.2 package and sent it over to the people who handles the LMS. When he tried to upload the course he gets an error that says " Whoops, looks like your file may not be formatted correctly.
I have attached his screenshot.
Is it because the LMS is not targeting the "story.html" file or should it be targeting the "index_lms.html: file?
I exported as :
SCORM 1.2,
Passed/Incomplete

As I understand it, an LMS typically starts with the index_lms.html file.
Did you have Storyline automatically zip the publish course, or did you zip the files yourself?
- One common error is to have the zip include the folder that holds the files. If you did that, it wouldn't be able to load in an LMS.
- The zip should only include the published files (not the folder that Storyline puts them in).
