Sample SCORM multilanguage file from locatisation feature?
Hi,
since we have had (or are still having) issues with our LMS (Lern365) and externally created multilanguage SCORM files, I would like to try and see if such files created with Rise360 or Storylind 360 create the same issues. Because if they do, I am not going to waste more time with this feature for the moment.
Is there a file available in several languages to test this? The chatbot said there was one (made with Rise), but I didn't find it (as if an AI chatbot had ever found the right answer to my weird questions 🤦‍♂️)
Thank you!
P. D. The issue is that the LMS recognises the course as "completed" as soon as the page with the language selector is shown (SCORM logic: this course is completed because all pages have been seen). So far, we haven't been able to resolve this between the LMS and the course vendor.

Have you tried uploading a multilanguage course to SCORM Cloud? I'd start there. I'd be very surprised if a multilanguage course was essentially non-SCORM-compliant, but I haven't made or tested such a thing myself.

Hi Silverfire,
thank you for your response.
Yes, I have tested it there. SCORM Cloud shows the same behaviour as our LMS. If you choose a language and go into the content, all is fine and as it should be. But if users click on the "continue" button in the LMS before choosing a language, the LMS shows the course as "completed" (NOT "passed") and they can go on to the next SCORM. The next SCORM is only available if the current SCORM has been completed.
The thing is, there are no actual errors in the SCORMs, the manifest is fine, so is the rest of the structure. The problem seems to be the "SCORM in a SCORM" setup (like the Russian Matrjoschka dolls), there is a SCORM logic for the language choice and one for the actual course in a folder further down the folder structure.
This topic has been keeping me busy for over a week now because we have one course live which shows this behaviour. It is very strange.
That is why I would like to test a multilanguage course from another source (the courses in question were not created with Articulate360). And also before investigating the localisation feature (which I LOVE by the way!) any further. The resulting courses should be compatible with our LMS...
