SCORM Metadata With A Copy of Original File

Was helping someone with a Articulate Presenter issue and noticed the same thing in Storyline.  The person is working with a LMS where the metadata is important to be correct, especially the Title ...

I know this is a very old post but is this issue solved somehow? I am "saving as" a SL file to speed up the process of creating a series of courses, but the metadata remains the same as the original course (even using different titles for them). I am especially worried about the course identifier.

Can I change the course identifier to any sequence of letters/numbers to make sure they are different? Or do I need to follow a specific pattern?

    Hello Flavia!

    The Identifier is a unique string of characters assigned by Storyline that your LMS uses to identify your course. If you're republishing a course that's already in your LMS, don't change the value in this field.

    If you're not republishing the course, have you tried importing the slides into a new blank project? That should help create a new identifier.
