I'm so sorry to hear you are having audio issues. I understand your frustration and wanted to pop in to share workarounds with you! 

I wanted to pass along this article on Audio Quality Settings for Recorded Narration. Perhaps your course just needs a slight adjustment to the audio quality when publishing. We share recommended audio bitrates in this article.  

Additionally, I recommend a repair of your Storyline 360 installation in order to double-check that the audio recording feature is working correctly within Storyline.
