Screen recording jumping back to start frame before moving onto next slide

    Hi Everyone!

    Sorry to hear you've been affected by this issue!

    I can confirm we have this behavior logged as a bug in Storyline 360. This bug causes:

    • When previewing Step-by-Step Try Mode slides inserted from a screen recording, a flicker can be observed before jumping to the next slide. Also, flickering occurs on the first frame of the next slide's screen recording.

     

    We've included your voices in the bug report that has been linked to this discussion. We'll be sure to notify you as soon as a fix is in place! In the meantime, as a workaround, we suggest using Action Fine Tuning to remove the frames of the next slide's screen recording video.

Articulate support have updated me on this: 

We're currently tracking this issue and I've added your case to the report.

From here, I’ll meet with my team to take a closer look so we can determine the next steps. 

Depending on priority and risk, some bugs can be fixed quickly, while others take longer to resolve.
