Screen recording jumping back to start frame before moving onto next slide

    Hi Everyone!

    Sorry to hear you've been affected by this issue!

    I can confirm we have this behavior logged as a bug in Storyline 360. This bug causes:

    • When previewing Step-by-Step Try Mode slides inserted from a screen recording, a flicker can be observed before jumping to the next slide. Also, flickering occurs on the first frame of the next slide's screen recording.

     

    We've included your voices in the bug report that has been linked to this discussion. We'll be sure to notify you as soon as a fix is in place! In the meantime, as a workaround, we suggest using Action Fine Tuning to remove the frames of the next slide's screen recording video.

Joining in the conversation so that I'll get updates. We use Try It slides to create software simulations and this bug is a show-stopper for us; every time the student opens a menu or selects a menu item the screen recording flickers back.

We need a fix ASAP. The Tuesday update DID NOT fix this problem.

EDIT: I've attached a video showing the flashing. The application itself does NOT flash like that.
