Screen recording jumping back to start frame before moving onto next slide
- 9 months ago
Hi Everyone!
Sorry to hear you've been affected by this issue!
I can confirm we have this behavior logged as a bug in Storyline 360. This bug causes:
- When previewing Step-by-Step Try Mode slides inserted from a screen recording, a flicker can be observed before jumping to the next slide. Also, flickering occurs on the first frame of the next slide's screen recording.
We've included your voices in the bug report that has been linked to this discussion. We'll be sure to notify you as soon as a fix is in place! In the meantime, as a workaround, we suggest using Action Fine Tuning to remove the frames of the next slide's screen recording video.
Thank you for your patience. I'm sorry if this has been slowing you down!
Having this same issue and it's pretty annoying. We are attempting to build software training using the recording feature, and it just makes the software appear glitchy. Please we need this fixed.

Hi Steven,
I'm glad this has been logged as a bug and Articulate is working on a solution, but I also just wanted to let you know that I have tried Action Fine Tuning both when I originally encountered the issue and again today after you posted your suggestion for a workaround. In both instances the Action Fine Tuning does not resolve the issue. Trimming frames from the beginning of the next slide does not seem to prevent a flicker which shows the first frame of the previous slide.
Hopefully this is able to be resolved soon, thank you for the update.
