Screenshot layers and hotspots that feels like software simulation
Hello everyone,
I am trying to create a software simulation feel for Dayforce using storyline 360. The problem is if I actually use video with try mode steps - I go into dashboards that have personal information and we don't want to show those.
So I am trying to just use the homepage and create clickable hotspots with captions which only show when the mouse hovers over certain tiles on the homepage. I don't really want the user to click and go into them.
I have read lots of blogs and looked at the examples but I am still not sure how to successfully show what I have in mind. This is also my first time creating a storyline module on how to use a software.
It would be great if someone could guide me to the updated video tutorial or blog where I can find information on how to create layers, hotspots and video like feel using just a screenshot.

You can use the software recording feature to create your core slides and always edit out the content you don't want, or overlay your own images.
