Script Error in user.js
I am working on a Storyline project that someone else started, it's fairly long (lots of slides/layers and triggers). I noticed on previewing and publishing I am getting an error: "Uncaught SyntaxError: missing ) after argument list in user.js".
From what I understand user.js is JavaScript you add directly to a slide. The thing is I couldn't find any JavaScript anywhere, so after searching the entire project I decided to make a copy and start deleting scenes to narrow it down. Ultimately I ended up deleting every scene and every slide so I am left with only a new blank slide I added. I'm still getting the same error though... I also tried "Save As" as a new file, totally closing Articulate and reopening it but no luck. How can I get rid of this error/broken code?

Did you check the master slides as well?
What browser are you using?

Had the same thought as Ange on the slide master, or even a custom tab on the player!

This was the answer, I didn't even think to check since I wasn't the one who started the project. Thanks!

Does it give you a line number you could pupbish then get user.js and find the code, at least finding the code may give an idea where it resides.
