Second Attempt at Quiz
I'm fairly new to Storyline 360, but I would assume functionality would work the same as the Storyline 3 version I was previously using.
I'm having two issues with quiz questions:
- Branching to the Correct and Incorrect slide layers is not happening automatically. I have to create a trigger for each radio button/check box that directs the user to one of the slide layers after they click the Submit button. Is this new for Storyline 360? If not, are there settings I should be checking to determine why this isn't happening automatically? I have tried creating new quiz question slides but that doesn't help resolve the issue.
- Users can get through the first attempt at a quiz with no issue, however they can not select any answer options when attempting to take the quiz a second time. I have verified the following is in place:
- Results slide have a trigger to Reset Result of the Results Slide upon clicking the "Retry" button and Jump to Slide Question 1 when users click the "Retry" button.
- All quiz question slides have the Slide Properties set to "Reset to Initial State" when revisiting.
- All quiz question slides are set to "Unlimited Attempts" on the Design tab.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong in either of these situations, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Graded question slides in Storyline 360 work like they did in Storyline 3.
For graded question slides, it's best to have the Slide Properties set to "Automatically Decide." That takes advantage of the built-in functionality: It doesn't let the user change an answer if they review the quiz. It does let them change the answer if they retry the quiz.
When you set Attempts to anything >1, the program automatically adds a Try Again layer. If the user answers incorrectly, the Try Again layer will show until they reach the maximum allowed attempts. After that, another incorrect answer will show the Incorrect layer. When you set it for Unlimited attempts, the user has to keep trying until they get the correct answer. In other words, the Incorrect layer will never show. (The Correct layer will show if they answer correctly.)
Note that program looks for layers named Correct and Incorrect. If you change those names, the program can't automatically show the appropriate layer.
Also, be sure that you've indicated the correct answer for each question. In Slide View, that shows as the button looking selected when you're editing. In Form View, the correct item should be selected in the Correct column.

Thank you for your help!! The "Try Again" slide is new to me so I was just deleting it. Without renaming the slide layer, I've made the Try Again slide as my "Incorrect" slide and all is working now.
