Selecting two of the same answers in the Matching Knowledge Check

This is something that has bugged me for a while.
I hope you can help.

My client wants to use 2 of the same answers in the matching knowledge check.

However, the user needs to select the "correct" tile, even though both tiles have the same answer?

Is there a way for the user to select EITHER of the two tiles and get the quiz correct?

    Hi David,

It's not possible to do this in Rise. The matches need to be unique.

  • I see others have asked for this. It appears it can be done in Storyline 360 but should be a consideration for improvement in Rise 360.

      Hi David!

Glad to see Karl has been helping you out!

I can confirm that the answer selection needs to be unique in a Rise matching quiz question. If we make any changes to this in the future, we'll be sure to update you!

In the meantime, as a workaround, I would suggest building the question in Storyline 360 where more quiz options are present. Once it's been created, it can then be added to your Rise lesson as a Storyline block.

I found a related discussion where other users shared their approach!
