Setting default voice in Generate AI Audio dialogue box.
Hello!
The last version of Storyline worked so that if you were using, say, the Matilda voice for your primary scene VO, it defaulted to that voice each time you accessed the Generate AI Audio dialogue box via Insert Audio icon (in the AI Assistant menu section).
Now, after the last Storyline update (May 12, 2026 (Build 3.117.36909.0), it appears I have to select Matilda from the list in the Generate AI Audio dialogue every time I click the Insert Audio icon. It seems to default to Laura. Nothing against Laura, but I like Matilda.
Has the way it works changed, or am I missing the setting somewhere? I looked around and asked Chat and it did give me this info:
No, Storyline does not currently seem to offer a true default AI voice preference. The best workaround is to add your preferred voice to My Voices and start new voiceovers from an existing AI narration item so it preserves the voice/settings.

Hi we actually fixed that bug in v3.117 so it will remember the last voice you selected rather than always defaulting to Laura. Can you double check that you're on the latest version and if you're still seeing this behavior, would you be able to share a video recording so we can investigate?
