SHOWSTOPPER ISSUE: ENTIRE COURSES SKIPPABLE???

My coworkers and I just discovered that our courses created with Articulate have a pretty big issue. We set our Players to allow Seekbar after completion, then they can go back to the previous slide...

Ok, but why break up the video? What's the disadvantage of having a long video play on one slide.

Sorry, I do appreciate the help but I'm not here to discuss why we choose to make courses a certain way over another. There is a problem with the software (or there isn't) that I'm trying to understand and I don't want to detract from that issue.
