Simple Authoring Tool for non-IDs?
Hi all, I'm an ID and I use SL360.
In my organization, we're looking for a simple authoring tool for trainers (not IDs) to use to build VERY simple/short SCORM courses as well as creating content by importing PowerPoint decks.
We considered EasyGenerator but we're not looking for reporting, analytics, etc., just the tool to build simple courses that is hopefully budget friendly as well.
Thank you!
Since you're using Storyline 360, you also get Studio 360 which works from PowerPoint and would satisfy the working from PowerPoint option. A lot of people forget they have that or never use it.
If you're not familiar with it, here's a training overview. You can skip around the webinar to get a feel for how the tool works. But basically, the author works inside of PowerPoint and then publishes a final course that can be uploaded.

Hi Tom -
Thanks for reminding me about Studio 360! I literally 'found' this a few weeks ago, I didn't realize I had it. I had to put in an IT ticket so I could try it (the functionality is turned off).
However, what I was looking for was a solution for someone that's..."not" me. :) I have Storyline but no one else does, nor should they. That's why I'm looking for a different solution.

You can use Power Point with iSpring.
Thank you,

Hi Sherri,
I recommend Genially. There is both a free and premium version - tons of templates and super easy to use and add interactions. I've met lots of people who choose to use that over learning Storyline, but for me it's great to have both. I like embedding genially creations into my Rise courses to make them even more interactive ;)
