Simple Beginner Question
I am not sure if this is appropriate as I am very new, but I am just starting to learn Storyline and am very novice. I have an opening slide with a caption from a graphic. I hid the caption in the main slide and created a second layer with my next button triggering the caption to pop up. I was then able to create a trigger that allowed the next button to move to to the next slide, however, this is done simultaneously and the user doesn't have time to read the caption. How would I modify the trigger to require the user to either 1) click the next button the second time to move to the next slide or 2) have a small time, delay 2-3 seconds, before moving to the next slide? Thanks in advance!
Personally, I think the NEXT button should only be used to jump to another slide. I wouldn't use it for interactions on one slide.
Thus, I suggest this:
- Add a button on the slide that shows the layer with the caption.
- Use a trigger to change the NEXT button to Normal when the timeline of the layer ends.
