Slide Appears Out of Order in Menu - how to fix?
In working on a course, I have noticed that when I preview a scene, the second slide of the scene (29 slides in all) appears at the END of the menu - when I run the course, the slide appears in the right order, but it's listed wrong on the menu - at the end. I cannot figure out the setting that is making this happen. Can anyone help?
Thanks!

Wondering if anyone can help with this issue...sort of related to the above.
My slides appear in the right order in my course, but the numbering is off in the menu. Here's an example: I have three buttons on a slide--2.2--that link to three different slides with related content (slides 2.3, 2.4, and 2.5). The problem is, the content appears in the right order, but the menu shows 2.3, then 2.5, and 2.4. I want to swap 2.4 and 2.5--just the numbers--not the slide content.
Has this happened to anyone else? And if so, is there a fix?

Kate,
You should be able to accomplish this in the story view. Just click and drag the slide currently listed as 2.5 on top of slide 2.3. That should change the order so it is then 2.4. You might want to test any links to and from each slide after the change just to make sure it didn't adjust anything you didn't want it to.
Hi Kate! Looks like Josh has you taken care of here, just let us know if you need anything further.

Okay, Just missing something simple here. Sorry.
Slides in story view = 1.23, 1.25, 1.24, 1.26
If I rearrange in story view, it switches the slides but is still numbered 1.23, 1.25, 1.24, 1.26
I need to get story view in order so that next/prev buttons work properly without jerry-rigging the buttons
Thanks in advance!

Had to copy-and-paste contents and re-do a bunch of triggers, but the numbers are now in order.
Hi Keith,
Did you look at using the "reset from story" feature? It's described a bit further in this article. You could also remove the numbers entirely if you wanted as described there.
Hi Carl!
This thread is a bit dated and 'why' can be the difficult question. Sounds like the directions provided were able to assist you and I know that I've seen it happen as you add/insert slides or create non-linear content/re-direct triggers, etc.
Haha! Glad this older thread was able to help you out as well Liz :)
