Slider That Reveals Layers
In my project, I have a slider that reveals 4 difference characters. However, when I preview the slide, the slider is only able to move forward. How do I get the slider to move both forward and backward?

The commonest problem that causes this sort of result is that the layers has something on it that covers the slider. Many times it is a copy of the slider itself. If that's not the problem, follow Michael's suggestion (which is always your best option, anyway.)
