Slides not appearing in menu

I have asked this question before but still can't figure it out. I have a question slide, they pick their answer and it advances them to the next slide. After that slide, about 10 slides won't show in the menu, despite my resetting the player menu many times. Each icon has a trigger when clicked and there is a previous and next button, that's it. You can see 1.5 - 1.12 won't show.  Thank you!

  • Hi, Nancy!

Good news! I have a potential solution for your slides disappearing! Have you tried the "Reset from story" button? Here are the steps!

    1. Click Player
    2. Click Menu
    3. Click the Reset from story button (bottom right of the menu panel)

    Thanks for reaching out!

Sorry it took me so long to answer! I did try that and thank you for telling me, I am glad to know that's available. But it still didn't fix it. I posted in another forum because it seems like a ghost navigation glitch?  You can see here the nav arrow on the right is different than all other arrows. I even deleted that slide and it is still not showing those slides.

It is skipping all of those slides in between 1.4 and 1.12.

      Hi Nancy,

Sorry to hear that you're still experiencing issues with your file. I responded to your other post here, but you can also share your project file in this thread if you prefer! We'll take a closer look at what's happening in your project file as soon as we receive a copy of it for testing.

  • Hi Nancy,

I came across your question yesterday when I was facing the same issue. I managed to fix it by duplicating each of the slides that were missing from the menu (I literally just CTRL+C and CTRL+V'd all of them) then removed the original ones. The duplicated slides then appeared on the menu.

I've no idea why that worked, or why this error is happening, but this fix seemed to work for me!

    Thanks,

    Fraser
