2 dropdown menus in one question slide?
I think the answer to this is "No", but I also feel like I might be missing something really obvious.
In storyline, is it possible to have a quiz question which has 2 separate drop down menus?
So for example, the learner might be asked:
XYZ is a symptom of "LIST1" and the solution is "LIST2"
where LIST1 and LIST2 are dropdowns showing different choices?
There's no built-in option for 2 dropdown lists. You could design/program a custom Freeform Pick Many question, with the dropdown lists including separate selectable objects, with one from each set being one of "correct" responses.
If you search the community, you should be able to find examples of custom dropdowns.
I'll also tag NejcZD, so he can provide a link to his video about how to build dropdowns. His method for building them is fabulous.

Michelle_Eire Thank you, but make sure you watch part 2 for the improvements.

Thanks again NejcZD for your method and JudyNollet for putting me on right direction.
I've recorded a short peek showing how I used Nejc's method to create a question slide with 2 dropdown menus with different options, the answer is only marked correct if the correct answer is selected on both menus. It uses a pick one freeform question type.

There is still one interface issue with regards to getting a menu to disappear when the other is selected, but it's survivable if I don't figure it out before this project goes live - any suggestions from the community welcome.

Hi, Michelle_Eire,
nice job with the extra triggers so you have that object selected (make sure you remove it from the Focus order list).
For that menu moving up you just need two triggers. Basically, when one is selected, other one should be Normal and vice versa, like this:
Here you can see the menu closing in action.
