Sorting Activities - Not Working On Android Touch Screen Devices
Hi all,
I wonder if anyone else has noticed an issue arise over the last few weeks.
Unfortunatly, we are having issues across two devices where the sorting activities do not seem to work. When a colleague tries to move the sorting card, it just wiggles and does not drag across.
This is affecting two types of devices:
- Android Tablet
- Android Smart Phone
We have tested this on other devices (HP laptop, MacBook, Apple iPhone, Apple iPad) and cannot replicate the same issue.
We have been informed by our Service Desk team that the devices are up to date, running the latest operating system and version of the browsers.
Colleagues have tried to use Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge to complete the activities however, they are unable to do this when the activity is uploaded to our learning platform.
This previously worked with no issues however, the last few weeks it is impossible for us to work around this.
We have tried both SCORM and cmi5 as the file type, but none allow this activity to work.
If anyone has any updates or understanding of why this could be happening it would be appreciated as we try and investigate this further.
Kind regards,
Jordan

Hi LauraClark-8a69!
Sorry to hear you're having trouble with Rise 360's Sorting Activities!
I see that you've opened a support case, being handled by my teammate, Phil. As he shared, we have this behavior logged as a bug in Rise 360. This bug causes the inability to drag items in a Sorting Activity, when previewing the LMS output on Android devices. I've linked this discussion to the bug report, so we can notify you as soon as a fix is in place.
Thank you for your patience. I'm sorry if this has been slowing you down!
