Stop motion animation in Storyline 360
Hello everyone,
Is there a way to stop a motion animation on a trigger?
Sharing a sample of motion animation where when we click the "Fly" button the Helicopter starts to fly. i have added a "Land" button on clicking of which the helicopter stops when the circular animation completes. Is there a way to stop the motion path animation immediately when i click the button or an action is triggered.
If i click the Land button the motion animation should stop immediately.

Another solution I've found for this is to have the button click initiate a trigger to move the object along a motion path with a length of zero. Placing the motion path's starting point at the same location as the ending point has the visual effect of making it stationary.
Thanks for sharing your solution with the community, Brodie. That's a brilliant idea when working with motion paths, and I'm sure other community members will find that suggestion helpful.
Enjoy the rest of your day! 😀
