Stopping and Starting Video along Multiple Points on the Timeline in Articulate 360

Hello,

I'm working on a project where I need a video(s) to pause at specific points for user interaction.

The user can click a continue button after the video pauses to continue the video.

I can get the video to pause at the first cue point, but when I set the video to pause at additional cue points it continues to play.

I've read something about if the slide is not paused the video will continue playing. I think I correctly set the slide to pause as well (not 100% sure), but the video still continues to play.

Any insight into solving this issue?

Thank you!

  • You may want to consider using Layers.  Trigger a layer to display at a certain point on the timeline.  Adjust the layer properties to "Pause the Base Layer".  Create a trigger to close the layer to continue with the video.

This may be a more effective option to consider.
