Storyline - Exit Course & End Course

That creates a whole different set of challenges. When you say "Exit Course," what action(s) are you expecting? Send the learner's status, score, bookmarking data, et.al., to the LMS? Close the frameset the course was launched into and return to the course description page, or close the new window which was spawned when the course was launched?
Each LMS is different in that respect 🙄, and there is no "universal" "Exit Course" action, other than the course communicating the learner's status to the LMS. What happens after that is up to the LMS vendor. At one point in time, all of that had to be coded by hand, and then re-coded if you shifted your courseware to a different platform.
Leave the LMS. I guess I should explain more, we have been using Storyline for about 4 years or more, had Captivate before it, and have had Cornerstone for about 12 years. This is the first time the Exit Course and the End Course buttons have not behaved as it has all this time. This is new.
