Storyline & Moodle not cooperating

I have a series of courses that we want students to have access to for one year after they have taken the original. We are publishing scorm files to moodle. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be storing a users progress. If they restart the class, they cannot move forward and back within it. It's as if they have never taken the course.

We have the "prompt to resume" on restart selected and we have the "allow drag after completion" also selected. Does anyone know if this is a Moodle issue or if there is something that we can select within Articulate so that it knows the student has already started/completed the course?

  • I also use Moodle and Storyline 3 (not 360 sorry image of Storyline below might be out for you).  This sounds like an issue in Moodle to be honest.

When publishing check the LMS reporting is on and what this is set to.

In moodle check the Attempts management - you want the "Force new attempt" section to say "no" if you want it to remember.

Also check the Activity completion has same as LMS reporting above so in my case I make sure it is checking for "Passed/Incomplete" - Moodle as standard only ticks "Completed" so it didn't recall.

    Hope that helps
