Storyline 360: Cannot edit quiz questions imported from storyline 3
Hi, I haven't found anything about this issue:
I have imported a drag and drop question from a Storyline 3 project into a new SL360 one because I wanted the same structure of the question.
Problem is now if I want to edit the text of the drop items and targets, I get an error (big red X across a white screen). I can edit the same item in the original project with SL360.
The drag and drop function seems to be lost in the importing process, too.
Is it maybe not possible to edit imported questions from older versions? In that case I would stop trying my futile undertaking and rebuild the question slide...

Thank you for reaching out!Editing imported questions from a Storyline 3 shouldn't be an issue in Storyline 360. We're happy to take a deeper look if you can share the .story file either here or through a support case.
In the meantime, please make sure you are working on a local drive:

I am working on my local OneDrive folder. This has not been an issue with Storyline so far (or I haven't noticed) but with Studio360 it has indeed. I may try with a (truly) local copy and see if the problems persist. If they do, I may share the file for you to have a look-see.
EDIT: If the files are local, it works. Thank you for the hint!
HI Felix, I have had the same problem from time to time at different organisations and the only solution that has worked for me was to build a new slide. Not copy / paste. Have never found a reason it did this, and it has made no difference where the file is saved.
