Storyline 360 Freezing and Shutting Down – Advice Needed
Your problem sounds like it could be caused by a number of things.
I'd suggest that you start by reviewing the actions outlined here: Unable to Sign in To Articulate 360 / Couldn't Open Port | Articulate - Community (by Jose Tansengco); while they may be somewhat redundant, these steps are confirmed ways to do troubleshooting.
Are you working on *.story files that are housed or saved to a network share or a OneDrive location? That could also be the cause of your issues; make sure you are working with the files saved to your C:\Documents\My Articulate Projects location. (You can archive or back up the files to a network share when you are finished with them, of course, but trying to work from a network location is a known culprit for many problems.)
You could also be using Storyline and ... what other programs are running while you are working in SL? And depending on the Windows version you are using, your own system constraints could be simply overwhelmed. (We've had to press our IT group to give us greater memory and RAM capacity at different times.)
If all else fails, open a support ticket with Articulate and have them see what they can determine.
