Storyline 360 image issue when copying from another Storyline file

Hi all,

There seems to be an issue when copying a 360 image with markers and hotspots from one Storyline file to another.

I am not able to edit some (not all) of the imported 360 images in the new Storyline file. I get the three little dots showing that it's trying to load, but nothing happens.

Has anyone else had this issue. Thanks!

  • Hi Mathieu,

Thanks for reaching out! I just did some testing on my end, and I'm not able to reproduce this issue. I'm going to reach out in a support case to gather logs and help troubleshoot this issue.

    Thank You,

    Tyler

  • In the new storyline file, import from storyline the slide from the old file. That is the most reliable way to include everything in a functioning state. Copy paste is still an area of continuing growth in SL.

  • After further testing the issue is still present.

Here is what I have tried so far using the same 360 image:

    -Copy/paste image from another file
    -Copy/paste slide from another file
    -Import slide from another file

Using all three of these methods, I am still not able to edit the 360 image in the new file.
After a few minutes, I get the screen with a big red "X" (see attached).

    Thank you for your help!
