Storyline 360 Morph tool affecting objects that it shouldn't
Thank you so much, Nathan! That was a huge help and addressed about half of my issues.
Do you know if there is a limitation related to objects having multiple objects on a state? I use custom previous and next buttons. They are Circle shapes and then I added an icon on the Normal state. That seems to be the main one that is keeping me from copy/pasting and maintaining the ID number. My Home icon has multiple states but it is the same object with only a size change. That one is fine so I'm thinking the multiple objects is the issue. Thoughts?
My other issue is objects showing up out of order. My navigation bar is at the top of the list on the timeline. It has the same ID on every slide so it is stationary. I have another object at the bottom of the list in the timeline. It has the same ID and does successfully morph from one slide to the next. The problem is that during the transition, that bottom position object seems to ignore the list and jumps to the top. So for that brief instance of transition, the bottom object shows on top of the navigation bar. Does that make sense?
Any thoughts? I'll work on cleaning up a version of my slides that I can share, but thought I would ask in the mean time.

Sorry, not sure about the questions you asked. I don't really use the morph feature so I'm not up on the application details. I know if you start adding anything more complex than a color or position/size change, the morph just aborts into a fade effect. Adding something to a state would likely kill the morph effect.
I did try morphing an object through another stationary object higher up on the timeline. It seemed to work as expected (stacking order was correct). It may depend upon the specific objects being used, or how they are displayed on the slide.
If you get a sample posted that illustrates the problems you describe, then we can consider them more closely.
