Storyline 360 new malfunctions

Is anyone else having sudden problems with Storyline. The "Home" tab goes missing about five minutes after opening a file. Also, the trigger-wizard doesn't work. And takes forever to import or save. We're stuck and we have a giant presentation due for a client roll-out tomorrow. Yikes.

  • Wow. That sounds frustrating. Can you confirm that you are working locally on your C drive?  Since you are in a bind and under a  deadline, I recommend submitting a case to support 

  • As Ron suggested, you might want to submit a case to support.

    Here’s some standard advice that the staff usually offers:

    Be sure you only work on Storyline files located on your local hard drive.

    Quit Storyline and relaunch it.

    If that doesn’t help, try to repair Storyline:

     

    Another option: Revert to an earlier version of Storyline. You can access other versions via the Articulate 360 app.

  • Both RonPrice​ and JudyNollet​ have great answers and check points. I have seen some issues with the latest update. I have had to go back a version or 2 in the past when i know it worked before the updates.

  • I have seen home tab go missing today. going to story view and back fixes it
