Storyline 360 Running Very Slowly

Seemingly any function in Storyline 360 is working at a snail's pace. Earlier today it was working fine, but in the last 30 minutes it's become nearly unusable. I've tried restart...
I know this is an older thread, but I was also running into this issue, and turning off my photo adjustments fixed everything! I had upped the brightness on almost all of my images on a slide and it was definitely hurting the performance.
