Storyline 360 Update 103 is Live!

Earlier this week we released Update 103 of Articulate Storyline 360, continuing our focus on accessibility and authoring reliability with several targeted enhancements and fixes.

This release focused on areas like screen reader functionality, alt text, and improved SCORM support.

🎯 Spotlight: Smarter Screen Reader Support

• For multiple choice and checkbox questions, screen readers now announce the full question text when learners navigate to interactive elements like radio buttons or checkboxes using the Tab key. This gives essential context that was previously missing.
• We've also improved support for drop-down questions. In sequence drop-downs, learners hear position-based labels such as "first," "second," and "third." In matching drop-downs, the screen reader announces the choice text associated with each menu, helping learners understand the relationship between controls and content.
• Math equations now only receive the yellow focus highlight if they include a long description. This change prevents learners from thinking an equation is interactive when it is not. When a long description is present, learners can activate it with the spacebar to hear the extended explanation.
• Finally, the player seekbar now properly announces its tooltip, which helps learners using screen readers understand their position in the course and navigate with more confidence.

These refinements provide not just access, but the clarity and context needed for learners to stay oriented and fully engage with the material.
