Storyline Block in Rise not reporting correctly
- 2 months ago
Hi ChrisPim-f7a22b,
I have some great news to share! We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Build 3.103.35301.0, we’ve included important fixes. One of the bugs we’ve fixed:
- Completing a Storyline 360 block added to a Rise 360 course didn’t enable the continue block.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You’ll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let me know if you need additional help.
Rise doesn't use the LMS reporting options from the Storyline block. And Rise doesn't use any data (for example, quiz scores, variable values) from the Storyline block. That also means Rise can't submit that data to the LMS.
For Storyline blocks, Rise can only track whether the block has been completed as per the Tracking options used when the .story file was published to Review 360. Those options are as follows:
- When the learner has viewed a designed number of slides
- When the learner completes a quiz
- Using triggers (e.g., 'complete course')
