Storyline: Button on a pop2
I am editing a .story that I did not create. There is a rather complicated 2 minute scene with 3 layers in addition to the base layer. One of the resources that the end-user would click on (pop2), is now two pages. What is the most efficient way to have two images in one popup? I tried adding buttons to take you to the next image within the layer, but it didn't work. So now it takes you two the one image for 5 second, and then the 2nd image for 5 seconds. The button (Button 2), closes the layer entirely, it does not take you back to the first image. What is the least complicated way to let people see the two pages worth of resources if they want to?

As I understand it, the original "pop2" layer displayed 1 image. Now it needs to display 2 images but not at the same time.
I suggest you simply put the additional image on a new layer (e.g., "pop2alt"). Include buttons to navigate between "pop2" and "pop2alt."
Beyond that, it's hard to offer suggestions without seeing the slide. Here are the best practices for uploading a Storyline file:
- Only include slides that are related to the problem.
- Be sure objects, layers, motion paths, and variables have meaningful names.
- If there is proprietary content, replace or delete it. For example, replace proprietary text with “ipsum lorem” text.
