Storyline Closed Captions per sentence?
Hi!
I am currently using the AI Text to speech (from slidenotes) extensively. Love this clever feature! Especially in combination with the 'Generate closed captions' option!
As there will always be a next bottleneck... what i'm facing right now is that i spend a lot of time editing these closed captions so that they are in sync with each sentence.
Now i find i need to edit/adjust nearly every caption manually, making the automatically added once not so automatically as they could be in my view.
To save a lot of time, i'd like to know if its possible to 'tell' Storyline upfront to generate a new caption instance everytime a new sentence starts. Thus, when a certain amount of silence is detected in the audio.
Is there something to tweak as a user here? Tips?

I agree that it could be better, however, I am not sure that would meet captioning guidelines, captions ideally shouldn't be longer than 140 characters.

Hello Phil, thanks for hearing me.
I agree on that too. But i feel that this guideline should be a ... guideline. Not a default setting/state causing designers extra work.
(Edit: It's not a complaint, just wondered why and if there would be a simple solution)
