storyline get user click position

Hi, I want the user to click on any location on the screen and keep that location within a variable. In the next slide I want to place an object in this variable (the position the user clicked on)....

Hi.  It's been a few years now, any update on the ability to store the user click location x,y coords as variables (without resorting to JavaScript)?

Or, as Maria (staff) logged, a simple ability to recognize the last click position would be great.  

I need to provide some visual feedback to my users about where they have clicked on the screen.
