Storyline: Invalid or Corrupt File
Hi there,
Having the same issue and my work laptop doesn't have WinRAR - would anyone be able to help and see if I can salvage this? Took me ages to create for our team to use and all of a sudden it has this error message. I'm ready to cry at this point. ðŸ˜

So sorry to hear you've also encountered file corruption while authoring in Storyline!
After testing your file, I can confirm that it has become corrupted.
If you haven't already, please check your temporary files folder to see if a working backup can be retrieved. Here's how:
1) Open this folder in Windows Explorer: %appdata%\Articulate\Storyline
2) Scan the contents of this folder for a file that starts with the name of your project. If you find one, copy it to your desktop. If you find more than one, copy the latest version to your desktop.
3) Change the file extension of the copy on your desktop from *.tmp to *.story.
4) Double-click the file to open it in Storyline.
Let me know how it goes!

Unfortunately this is an older file from last year so I could not find it in the app data folder. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
