Storyline is too Slow

Hello,

When working on slides with inbuilt characters and animations, the working slides get very slow in response time, even selecting or moving an object takes more than 2 seconds. 

I read previous forum discussions, I have done all suggestions such as working on local drive, updating the software etc.... the problems do not improve.

 

We need an urgent explanation and a solution to fix this problem. Please provide info on the configurations needed to be able to run the software smoothly.
