Slow, Unresponsive, lag
Anyone else experience Rise360 being slow and unresponsive in the last 24 hours? Editing is painful since everything is slow and lagging?
Multiple browsers, Multiple networks, Multiple devices used. Cache cleared and system restarted multiple times.
I've submitted a ticket but wanted to see if there are others having issues.
Hi Everyone!
I understand you are facing setbacks and lag when accessing Rise 360!
Thank you for highlighting the issue, and sharing your feedback in this discussion. I've notified our Rise 360 development team, who is currently looking into possible causes of this behavior. Our goal is never to leave our authors stuck in their development.
Thank you for your patience. I'm sorry if this has been slowing you down!

Yes. Sadly, I've been experiencing this since Friday. Completed all of the above as well with no resolve. Getting a 'this page isn't responding' message with a Wait or Exit Page link. Also, it's kicking me out of the course, saying 'something went wrong, please try again or contact support if the problem persists.' I also opened a ticket. They are troubleshooting now.

Yeah, I've experienced all of that as well. Let's say work was challenging today with all these issues.

Very challenging. Do you have AI Assistant? We just signed up for that. Wondering if that has anything to do with it.
Hi SandraJennings!
Sorry to hear you've encountered these setbacks when authoring in Rise 360!
I see that you're deep into the troubleshooting process with my teammate, Cleober. We can continue the conversation through your case to keep all information in one spot.

Yes...Cleober is on it! Thanks!

I am having the same issue with Storyline360. Something as simple as copying and pasting an object is freezing the program, and displaying the same prompt that Sandra mentioned. I also just did the latest update after it freezing again this morning - 5 minutes later, freezes again.
Hi ChloeNash!
Sorry to hear you're experiencing slowdowns when authoring in Storyline 360!
Is this behavior occurring across all Storyline project files? If so, and you've already confirmed you are working locally, please try a repair of your Storyline installation.
However, if the issue is file-specific, do you mind sharing that .story file so we can take a closer look? Feel free to upload it here in the discussion or privately through a support case.

Yes, I've been experiencing this as well. I can't open a lesson I was working on at all. It's quite a long lesson, not sure what to do. Is anyone using the Mighty extension? I have turned this off but the delay is still there.
Hi UnitarTraining!
Sorry to hear that Rise 360 has been unresponsive for you!
I noticed you've already opened a support case that's been received by our support engineers. I've updated your case with the additional feedback you've shared.
We can continue the conversation through your case to keep all information in one spot.

Performance has been poor for about a month, but recently it's been appalling - of course, the usual 'it must be your side' is the standard response to tickets. I think the absolute worst performance correlates with the new AI translation features - could this be load balancing given what I suspect will be unprecedented demand as people test out this tool? Other forums are reporting this degraded to the point of being unusable recently. We are a savvy bunch - 99% of us know how to troubleshoot our own hardware and connections or have skilled teams supporting us who can, so I'm hoping that this passing the book mentality will change and they'll do something about the issue!

Our team is also facing horrendous lag, timeouts and errors - to the point where we cannot build today. This is slowing down our production.

Same here- struggling to get anything done today. It's been slow since last Thursday, but particularly bad today.
Hi EloiseHalliday!
Sorry to hear that you're struggling, when attempting to author in Rise 360!
I see that my teammate Mick received the support case you opened. He should be connecting with you via e-mail shortly!

Same here.
Hi DB15!
Thanks for letting us know you're also experiencing slowdowns in Rise 360.
I noticed you've been working with my colleague Ian, through a support case. Great move! Let's continue the conversation there.

It would also appear that you have little to no interest in responding to tickets either after the initial acknowledgement and pointing at everything else but your side of things. On a very small course creating any sort of interactive element (accordion, process block etc.) results in an almost immediate 'Something went wrong' and a need to refresh. I'm entering half a dozen words at a time then a problem arises...

We have been experiencing lag and slowness for a while now, but it is much worse this week. We are unable to proceed with development. I have "put up" with the issues but finally submitted a ticket today. If you have been experiencing performance issues, I suggest submitting a ticket so that Articulate is aware of the scope of the issue. Hopefully that will create a sense of urgency.
Hi LesaMoore-b1f22!
Sorry to hear these slowdowns in Rise 360 have been hindering your development!
Great move on opening a support case! I see that my teammate Phil just received your case. He should be connecting with you via e-mail, shortly!

Same - it's been extremely slow and today, as others have mentioned, any time I use an interactive element it crashes. Is there an existing ticket to reference?
Hi MelissaMontana-!
Sorry to hear Rise 360 has been slow on your end as well!
I noticed that you've opened a support case, that's been received by our support engineers. You're in excellent hands troubleshooting with them, and they should be following up with you via e-mail, shortly!

Hey StevenBenassi,
I appreciate you responding to others in this feed. Ticket or no ticket, please be aware that these issues are real even if your team is operating with no issue. I know tickets are always met with this isn't our issue but an issue on your end... That is not the case for this issue. Whether it is your servers that are being overloaded, the introduction of localization, or AI or a combo.... There is an issue with the product being slow or unresponsive or kicking you out (logging out in some cases).Hi DuaneReimer!
Thanks for following up and sharing the additional feedback!
I see that my teammate Mick is helping you through your support case. We can continue the conversation there!
