Storyline Lagging
Hi, KayleneWance! Thanks for the update, and thanks for sharing what you've tried already.
It's helpful to know that exporting the AI-generated images and moving the project into a new Storyline file reduced the lag, but since it's still not clear what specifically contributed to the behavior, we'd like to take a closer look.
Would you be willing to share your Storyline file with us privately through a support case? That will help our support team investigate whether the performance is related to the project itself, the AI-generated assets, or something else in the authoring environment.
Once we have your file, we'll work with you to better understand what's happening and keep you updated along the way.
Thanks @Jimmadne!
What I did today was export any of the AI images and swap them, then copy/pasted my whole project into an new project file. So far today, the lagging is much less. So, I think my conclusion that the AI generated things (images and 1 AI avatar video) were the things causing the lagging.
I have plenty of memory on my computer - I think I still have 1 TB left :)
