Storyline LMS bookmarking issue: resumes on random question instead of result slide
We are facing an issue with LMS bookmarking in our Articulate Storyline course and would appreciate your guidance.
The course structure is as follows:
- Teach screens
- Assessment quiz
- Result slide
- Closing slide
The issue occurs after the learner completes the assessment, regardless of whether they pass or fail.
Expected behavior: After reaching the result slide, if the learner exits the course from the LMS and relaunches it, the course should resume from the result slide.
Actual behavior: On relaunch, instead of opening the result slide, the course resumes on one of the assessment question slides, and the question is different each time. Sometimes it opens on Question 9, sometimes Question 11, 14, etc.
Because of this, the learner is able to re-enter or retake the assessment, which should not happen once the result slide has been reached.
We checked all course logic, slide properties, and triggers thoroughly and did not find any issue.
As part of troubleshooting, we also redeveloped the complete assessment, but the issue still persists.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

That's unfortunate. SCORM 1.2 has limited Suspend Data. Is the course quite large? If you are not able to use SCORM 2004 (edition 3 or 4), I would consider breaking the course into smaller modules. Others in the community may have other suggestions.
If the client is willing to let you use SCORM 2004 (which will not really impact them) , then you are golden.

Do you get this same behavior when publishing for the Web Setting?
If it works for the WEB setting, then I am assuming you are using the LMS option and SCORM 1.2. I would try SCORM 2004 Edition 3 or 4.

Thanks, yes, we have also checked this in SCORM 2004 and this issue is not appearing if we use SCORM 2004, but client requirement is
SCORM 1.2.
Do we have any other solution on this?
