The functionality you described is not currently supported by Storyline 360 screen recordings. Although, it sounds like an interesting idea that I can share with my team! In the meantime, as a workaround, have you tried including the screenshot image on a separate Layer, then using a Trigger to show the Layer at a certain time during the recording?
