Thanks for digging into this. Great catch spotting the inline CSS angle, that’s super helpful context!

And thanks to SBP_Inc​ and filiberto136​ for sharing your insights and workarounds.

Just to confirm a few things that will help us reproduce the issue:

  • Does the color swap happen in preview, or only after you publish?
  • If published, which browser and version are you using?
  • Are you publishing for LMS, Web, or Review 360?
  • Which Storyline 360 update are you running?

 

Those details will help us confirm the behavior and log a report if needed. You can also open a support case if you’d rather share your file privately.

    Hi Eric

    Here you go

    • Does the color swap happen in preview, or only after you publish? Both, and has been for some time. I have been nursing it by editing the HTML but its laborious and easy to miss.
    • If published, which browser and version are you using? Primarily Edge (141.0.3537.57) and Chrome (140.0.7339.208), but it doesn't matter since the issue is in the markup.
    • Are you publishing for LMS, Web, or Review 360? Primarily for LMS but again it doesn't matter since the issue is in the markup.
    • Which Storyline 360 update are you running? 3.104.35448.0

    It seems that if your engineers made sure the inline CSS and the external CSS matched the custom color chosen in the software, there wouldn't be the issue. Now, of course I am not an engineer so I have no idea the effort I am asking for. :)
