Storyline randomly changing text boxes to remove word wrap

I'm having an issue where Storyline is changing the size of text boxes.
For example, a text box which is two lines long is changed so that it has no wrapping, and extends off the page. ...
In my experience, it usually happens if the text box shape was originally linked to a text box on a master slide.
If that master Slide text box gets deleted (for whatever reason) then it appears the shape/text box on the slide has nothing to refer back to so it defaults to a single line, no-wrap box.
Placing a text box on the master slide and then re-linking the slide in question back to that master layout slide (and possibly having to copy and paste the content from the errant text box into the new text box) usually solves the issue.
