Storyline, Rise, and the Exit 'button'
Hi, everyone!
I have some great news to share! We have released a new update for Storyline 360 (Build 3.78.30680.0). An enhancement that's included in this update:
- Storyline blocks in Rise 360 courses now display full-screen on mobile devices when player controls are turned off.
Please update Storyline 360 to the latest version to take full advantage of this feature.
If you have any questions, please let us know, and we'll be happy to help! You can reach out here or privately in a support case.
We are experiencing an issue where the 'Exit course' button is covering the Storyline block full-screen close 'X' button on iPhones (the exit course button is hidden on Android phone).
Is it possible to hide the exit button when viewing a Storyline block or move the Storyline block close button? Currently the fix we have in place to move the close button (updating the mobile.min.css) is time-consuming. Surely there is a simpler solution?
Hi Sophia!
Sorry to hear you've run into this setback!
In version 3.78.30680.0 of Storyline 360, we released an enhancement allowing Storyline Blocks in Rise 360 to display full-screen on mobile devices when player controls are turned off. To clarify, have you tried turning off the player controls in your Storyline course before embedding it into Rise 360? This should allow your course to go full-screen, and give the 'X' button to close the block more visibility.
If that doesn't do the trick, do you mind sharing a copy of your course to see if any adjustments can be made to make the 'X' button more visible? Feel free to attach a copy here in the discussion or privately through a support case.
