Storyline: Transfer of source file

So I will ask the vendor to confirm that he will share any assets as well.
One more question please, can you please how those assets should be shared? Should they be shared in different files? in addition to the .story file.?

They will be different formats:
the Articulate Storyline file will be .story.
I expect that the developer has used other software tools to create the course. I'd ask for all of the files that he was used to create the course - you need the original files (referred to as the source files).
For example if you have graphics files, you won't be able to easily edit a png or jpg file. You'll need the original file used to create them. Probably something in Adobe Creative Cloud, or something similar.
You might not change them, but if you want to change them or want to localise the course in the future you want all of these files.
You can transfer via DropBox, WeTransfer, Google Drive.
I'd ask IT within your organisation what is the file transfer that you are allowed to use.
I'd get someone to check all the files and to ensure that you have the latest files and that they all work.
