Stuck in drop down menu with screen reader

I tested a sample drop-down interaction with NVDA active, and I can confirm that I was able to interact with it properly:
Since the behavior appears to be isolated to your project file, would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can take a closer look at what's happening? Please include which version of Storyline 360 and NVDA do you have installed. We'll delete your files when we're done testing!

* hit the down arrow to navigate to the drop down menu
* hit the space bar to enter the drop down menu
* hit down arrow to select my answer, and be stuck, can't get out of
the drop down menu.
* If I hit Tab, I go directly to the new drop down menu without
hearing the propositon before.Regards.

You used the tab navigation, so NVDA didn't read "New" or "Apple" I presume.

The interaction I used is a "Matching Drop-down" interaction, as shown here.
You can generate the slide yourself and it should look like the one shown in my recording. Let me know if you have any questions!
