subtitles don't appear in video
Hello,
I've created a tutorial with synthetic voice and subtitles. I added the trigger to turn captions on. when creating the video, and opening the project i can see the subtitles but when I send the file, they don't appear. Neither on VLC nor quicktime. Can you help ?
Thanks ;-)

So - not sure what you mean when you say you “send the file…” I am presuming that you mean publish the file.
Make sure you have enabled the Captions feature in the Player. It’s a checkbox in the list of built-in features. If you have enabled captions and you publish the course and the captions still do not appear, that would be a reason to submit a ticket.
Good luck.

I assume you're publishing to video. Your issue seems to be related to this thread.
The captions automatically get included in the published output. The published output for a video project consists of the MP4 video file and a corresponding VTT captions file, as shown below.
To view captions, open the MP4 video on your local computer. Then, use the media player’s controls to enable the captions if they are not already turned on. Enabling captions may vary depending on the media player, but the player should automatically detect the captions file if it is stored in the same folder as the video file.
The captions may not appear as they do in the Storyline preview, but will instead follow the design implemented by the default media player.
