Survey Block: How to get results in Moodle LMS

Hello!

I was very excited to see the addition of the Survey block in Rise -- this is a long awaited feature!

However, I have not figured it out how to get learners' responses once the package is exported as a SCORM  (2004, 4th edition) and uploaded to my LMS Moodle.

I'm aware that results can be seen in Rise if Connected Packages is enabled. However, as this is a Labs feature and therefore may be changed or removed in the future, I'm reluctant to use it.

I had a look at the SCORM reports on Moodle, but couldn't see the responses.

Has anybody else encountered the same issue and found a solution?

I'm also happy about the survey block, however I can't seem to get to the data from the survey when exported as a SCORM file for my LMS (Dayforce). From what I can see the analytics area is only for quick links and not SCORM files. How do I get to the survey data?

I have tried exporting as a SCORM 1.2 as recommended by Phil, and I could see the responses in the SCORM interactions report (not sure if this is available in your LMS, I'm using Moodle).

I still need to test the feature properly though - there are different types of survey questions available, and I have only tried linear scale.

  • I don't work for Articulate but it is very rare from a labs not to reach production, I can name one feature that never made it, and one where features were limited on release (and those features have susequently been restored). Labs is more of a beta product that may still have bugs or still has features to be added.

I’m also hesitant to rely on Connected Packages since the Survey block is currently a Labs feature.

  • Moodle doesn't fully support Scorm 2004, it is better to use scorm 1.2 in moodle.
