Thanks so much for reaching out! Sorry to hear you're running into this issue. 

Have you tried clearing your browser cache and duplicating the course? You can clear your cache by following the guide below:

Please also make sure you are using the latest version of a supported browser.

If the issue persists, try duplicating the block in the lesson that contains the table and see if you are able to format after.

In order to have a better idea of what you're experiencing, it would be helpful to take a look on our end. Would it be possible for you to share a copy of your course privately in a support case?
